Use a plain numeric value

HassleKit accepts non-negative numbers with a decimal point, such as 24.99, 24 and 0. It flags currency symbols, negative values and other price formats for review.

Common mistakes

€24.99 includes a currency symbol. 24,99 uses a decimal comma. 1,299.00 includes a thousands separator. If these mean twenty-four euros and ninety-nine cents, or one thousand two hundred and ninety-nine, the plain values are 24.99 and 1299.00 respectively. Confirm the intended amount before editing.

Decimal commas and CSV separators are different

Quoting "24,99" keeps it in one CSV field, but does not make it pass the checker’s price format rule. An unquoted comma in a comma-separated CSV can also create an extra field. Export as UTF-8 and verify both the CSV separator and the actual price value.

Missing prices depend on context

A blank regular price on a simple product or variation is a warning. It may be intentional in a partial update. A variable parent row can leave its own regular price blank, with prices on its variations. Zero is a real price; do not replace missing prices with zero unless the product should be free.

Review sale prices too

The checker warns if the sale price is equal to or higher than the regular price. Review the intended discount and any sale dates in WooCommerce. The checker does not validate every tax, currency or extension-specific rule.

Fix and retest

Select Invalid price or Missing price in the report, locate the affected products, edit a copy of the source file and check it again. Test the corrected prices in a small staging import before updating the full catalog.
